With summer fun comes summer sweat, salt and sometimes spots. Wonder why your skin is breaking out in summer or you experience forehead acne in summer? An increase in overall sweatiness, thanks to long, hot sunny days and humidity mixed with build up from sand and dirt from outdoor activities can lead to clogged pores and increased breakouts both on the face and body. Here are our top tips for preventing warm weather summer breakouts this season:
A wash gel containing BHAs or AHAs is going to help remove daily buildup as well as layers of makeup, SPF and sweat. Use it on the face and body to prevent body breakouts as well as those on your face.

Salicylic Acid is a BHA (beta hydroxy acid) and helps clear oil from deep within the pores, which helps minimise the bacteria that causes your breakouts in the first place.

Glycolic Acid is an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) that helps gently break down the bonds between the dull, dead cells on the top layers of the skin, making way for dramatically improved smoothness and radiance. Glycolic also helps reduce sun damaged skin, addresses rough and flaky patches, improves hydration, increases cellular turnover and diminishes the appearance of pigmentation. Phew!
