Ingredient focus: Niacinamide

The last hurrah 👋🏽 We’re discontinuing the Hydrating Vitamin B Serum to make way for new and better products so get it while you still can.

What Niacinamide products can I use instead?

Not to worry, there are plenty of ways to still get your Niacinamide / Vitamin B3 fix in several other products:

The Brightening Serums

Both Brightening Serums contain 5% Niacinamide to help encourage a brighter, more even skin tone.

Level 1 contains tyrosinase-inhibiting peptides, Niacinamide, Vitamin C, PHAs and extracts from Mulberry and Licorice root to help reduce unwanted discolouration in the skin and brighten the complexion.

Level 2 contains all the goodness of Level 1 plus Alpha-Arbutin and Tranexamic Acid to really amp up the action against dark spots and melasma.

Why only 5% Niacinamide?

Through our testing and clinically available data we have found 5% to be an effective dosage that is still easily accepted by many skin types and non-irritating.

Having 5% Niacinamide or less in our La Clinica products means you can pair any of these products together for your perfect, desired amount of B3.

What can you expect from Niacinamide?

Less redness (thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties), preserved hydration, a strengthened skin barrier, and the improved synthesis of healthy fats (key for glowing skin).

Niacinamide is also notable for its ability to reduce the appearance of pores. While we know that pores don’t really open and close, they can look smaller due to a few factors that Niacinamide can help with: clear, debris-free pores are less visible, hydrated, moisturised skin is plump and pores appear tighter.

How to add Niacinamide into your skincare routine

As all the La Clinica Niacinamide products are formulated for regular use, you can use Niacinamide both morning and night. Simply apply any of the serums to cleansed skin, add your choice of moisturiser plus SPF50+ and you’re all set! Niacinamide is compatible with many other ingredients such as peptides, hyaluronic acid, hydroxy acids and all types of antioxidants and therefore can be added into any skincare routine.
